The free classifieds are provided as a service to registered viewers. While anyone can view the classified ads, only registered viewers may post an ad on the system. But please keep in mind the the staff of BiCity Buzz has neither reviewed nor approved any ad posted on the classified network. As with any purchase or contact with strangers, use your own judgement in your dealings with strangers. BiCity Buzz is not responsible for anything posted on the free classified section. The followng suggestions are provided as reminders and general suggestions.

You can sidestep would-be scammers by following these common-sense rules:

• DEAL WITH PEOPLE YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON LOCALLY - this one simple rule will allow you to avoid 99% of the scam attempts on any classified ad network.

• It is ALWAYS BEST TO PHYSICALLY INSPECT anything you are purchasing BEFORE you hand over any money. And if the purchase is for a more costly item, such as a car, boat or motorcycle.... ALWAYS have an independent inspection made before you hand over your hard earned money.

• NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service - this can be a high probablity indication that someone is attempting to take advantage of you

   

• FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later. Where possible, accept payment in certified bank funds.

   

• BiCityBuzz.com IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"

   

• NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)
   
• If you do choose to meet someone in person in response to an ad on the classified network, use common sense . MEET ONLY IN PUBLIC PLACES WHERE YOU FEEL COMPLETELY SAFE, and it is always a good idea to have one or more friends go with you on your first meeting.

These common sense measures will help insure that your transaction is a satisfactory one.

DO NOT POST INAPPROPRIATE ADS. Ads that offer illegal, immoral, off color, or adult content are not allowed and will result in you and your IP address being banned permanantly for this website.
