If you have a problem with blackheads, blemishes, or large pores, this product is for you! I went to ULTA Salon Store, in the Columbus Park Crossing shopping center, and I purchased this Joey New York Professional “Pure Pores” for $25. There was a wide variety of Joey products and most of them were a little bit on the pricy end, but if they all work as well as this product… I would say they are worth it.

The bottle states that the product is an instant blackhead remover and pore minimizer gel. The directions on the bottle are as follows:

"On clean skin, apply a thin layer of Pure Pores on areas with blackheads, excess oils, and large pores. Wait for gel to dry- approximately one minute. With gentle up and down massage movements, roll away impurities and blackheads. Then rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid the eye area. For best results, use at night, 2-3 times per week."

After cleaning my face at night, I applied this product in my problem areas for blackheads and blemishes. The product stung pretty badly when I first applied it. (Due to the product being Salicylic Acid based) The burning went away after about 30 to 45 seconds. The gel took about 5 minutes to dry completely. The bottle said it would only take about a minute. After it dried, I used my hands to roll away the gel. This was a little uncomfortable for my skin. It kind of felt like I was skinning my face. I know that does not sound very appealing, but I could tell a difference in the appearance of my pores, blackhead areas, and fine lines where I have smile wrinkles. My face felt really tight after I used the product. I took a damp wash cloth and ran it over my face a few times to get the remainder of the gel off, and then I went to bed. The next morning, my face looked much healthier and had a great glow.

I have used "Pure Pores" about three times total, and I have been pleased with the results every time. I will continue to use this product and recommend it to others.
